🌸 Meet the Drama Queen: Rhododendron Edition

I’ve been living at this place for almost 11 months now, and this is actually the first time I’ve seen flowers grow here. And honestly? I wasn’t expecting this level of beauty.

These popped up out of nowhere like, “Ta-da!” and totally caught me off guard with how vibrant they are. 

After a quick Google search (because I had no clue), I found out they’re called Rhododendrons. 

Genus: Rhododendron

Species: Probably Rhododendron catawbiense (don’t quote me though—I didn’t ask the plant directly 😅). 

It’s kind of wild how something so pretty can just show up one day like it’s been here all along.
